NARS Banc De Sable Highlighting Palette Review WITH SWATCHES!!

Everyone, everywhere is coming out with new highlighters – and I don’t hate it! One of the newest ones to my growing GLOW collection is the NARS Banc De Sable highlighting palette, complete with THREE shades!

“A palette with three, universally flattering highlighters to illuminate the eyes and cheeks, while an ultra-versatile wet/dry formula takes you from sheer shimmer to an intense glow.”

THE PACKAGING: Housed in a sleek and petite matte black compact with an orange semi-reflective top. It has a snap closure and the inside has a quality mirror! The three shades are evenly distributed on the bottom portion of the compact.

Rivage – glistening pearl

Salé – shimming peach champagne

Embruns – metallic rose gold

THE FORMULA: These remind me of the NARS’ dual-intensity formula but more powdery and easier to apply with a brush. They have a soft powder feeling with no fallout, nicely pigmented, and easily blendable. They apply beautifully with any of my preferred highlighting brushes, my favorite being the Wayne Goss Airbrush so that the highlighter blends into my other cheek products upon initial application.

THE PRICE: $49 for 3.4 grams of product – can be purchased HERE

FINAL THOUGHTS: For my skin tone, I’ve preferred the Rivage and Salé shades, either on their own or mixed together. I’ve worn Embruns, the rose gold, mixed with Rivage and it becomes a softer rose gold and looks beautiful! I have yet to use these wet as dry, they are intense enough for my taste! I think this palette is super universal and would suit most skin tones! It’s a little on the pricey side, but as a NARS super fan, it’s the perfect addition to the family!!

  1. Insanely beautiful, I love all the glows and agree they would suit just about everyone, especially if combining them subdues or intensifies … Off I go to buy this baby 😍🌟

  2. I. Need. This!!! I think those first two lighter shades will look better on my skin tone too. Very excited to purchase and try this product out! Thank you for your review, photos and swatches!!
